I love having photos taken to document special occasions,
but I'm really bad at organizing them. When Joey and I got engaged, we had an
engagement pictorial session. We were lucky to have such a thoughtful
photographer, who compiled our best shots into a photo book and gave it to us as
a gift. Otherwise, these pictures would have just lived in my hard drive and our photographer's website.
When we were around 3 months married, we went on our
honeymoon and had a small ceremony and postnuptial photoshoot. This photo:
I love it! Our photographer was a San Francisco local so he
knew all the best spots to photograph the iconic Golden Gate bridge. Well, this
photo can only be seen in our photographer's website, and in my hard drive and
iPad.
Then Joey and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. I
arranged for a photographer who lived near the building we were staying in to
photograph us a-day-in-the-life style.
Where are the photos now? You guessed it, in my iPad and
hard drive. See, I told you I'm really terrible at organizing photos.
Our family milestones are well documented so that's a good
start. But what I seriously need is a way to preserve them.
Our latest family milestone was the twins' first birthday.
Yes, it's been 4 months and the twins don't have a hard cover birthday album to
look back on.
Well that changed when I discovered Photobook Worldwide
through my friends at Mommy Bloggers Philippines.
With Photobook Worldwide, I was able to create and order the
twins' first birthday photo book in less than an hour (This is for the 6x6"
hard cover photobook which requires a minimum of 21 photos). All I had to do was download their app, select the type of
book I want, choose my photos, edit the arrangement of the photos and the book
was done! Checkout was super quick too! I just entered my details and paid via
PayPal.* I received my order confirmation via email within a minute and after 7 working days, I received my photo book.
Super simple. We all had a great time looking at the photo book with the twins too. Maybe I should get a second copy so they can have one book each? This is totally doable because the app saves all the photo books you create so it's easy to order more copies. OK, I'll think about it. They should really start learning to share. I guess I'll just start organizing our honeymoon photos, our first wedding anniversary photos and random twin photos in my phone. Oh my... looks like this can get addicting!
Are you also looking for ways to organize your digital
photos? All you need is your smart phone and you can create your own photo book
too. Hey, you can even make a personalized mother's day gift (It's on May 13,
so you still have time). When you do, use the promo code APR18 upon checkout to get a 40% discount on your photo book (Offer is good until April 30, 2018). Happy photo book-making!
*I was given a free photo book (excluding shipping fee) as
part of Photobook Worldwide's promotion with Mommy Bloggers Philippines, but
all thoughts and opinions are my own.
