A few days ago, a friend asked me if I tested multiple diaper brands to see which one performed best with my twins. Yes, that seems like something an OC mom like me would do but the answer is I didn't have to. I think I got lucky because their skin didn't react to the brand that they used in the NICU so that was one thing I no longer had to worry about. Then, when we were able to bring them home after their NICU stay, we had lots of Pampers Baby Dry tape diapers in newborn size waiting for us - a baby shower gift from friends. We tried them and we were impressed with the softness, absorbency and fit. Since the twins are premature, they're a bit small so getting the right diaper fit is a challenge. I remember back in the NICU, the nurses had to fold their diapers to fit them. Pampers on the other hand, just fit around their waist and legs really well which meant less leakage and diaper blowouts - yay for us!
As the twins grew, we moved up sizes and still got the same
performance when it came to absorption, fit and comfort. But now that they're
almost 9 months old, diaper changes have become a wrestling match! They refuse
to lie still on their backs and prefer to be changed standing up while holding
on to their crib railings. This was when Joey and I decided to try Pampers Baby
Dry pants diapers.
At first I was a bit skeptical because I was worried the
diaper would slide off the waist once it's full of pee or poo but after just
one whole day of using it, we were convinced that switching to Pampers Baby Dry
pants diapers was possibly the best diapering decision we've made because it
cut our diaper changing time in half! It's really easy to slip on even when all
the twins want to do is sit, stand or climb. That's a big deal for twin parents
who have to do back to back nappy changes. It also fits snugly, prevents leaks
and stays place despite being full. It also keeps the twins' diaper areas soft
and smooth even after overnight use which means absorption is great. And when
it comes to taking the diaper off, we simply have to tear the sides and it
slides off quickly unlike tape diapers which sometimes accidentally stick to
the twins' clothes or skin. Lastly, each pad is really thin which means more
space whenever we pack them in our diaper bag!
We change the twins' diapers roughly 7-8 times a day each.
That's a total of 16 diaper changes in a day so it's really important for us to
find a solution that works both for us and the babies which is why we're really
glad we found Pampers Baby Dry pants.
These are already kept in her diaper bag so I am just keeping them in there in case. The hospital will provide wipes as well. Best Pamper
ReplyDeleteYup, Pampers are the best!
DeleteThe local brands of Baby Diaper have really improved in quality. I've been using Canbebe for my baby, and it's been fantastic."
ReplyDelete. A good diaper should keep your baby dry and comfortable for hours, while also being gentle on their sensitive skin to prevent rashes or irritation. Brands that offer hypoallergenic materials and a snug fit around the legs and waist are ideal.Choose best diapers
